These koalas are sharing a drink as climate change has reduced the amount of water provided by eucalyptus leaves.

This is part of my 2018 Inktober series where I did one ink drawing a day for October following the official prompts. The prompt for this day was "bottle". I decided to try out pointillism for most of the shading as it helps convey the koala fur well. It was extremely time consuming for a daily drawing but fun.
